Diversity plays an integral part in all that we do, with female partners comprising 45% of our partnership.

The Team You Will Join

Our leasehold enfranchisement practice sits within our Residential Real Estate team and comprises fee-earners from both the Residential Real Estate team and the Real Estate Disputes team.

The Residential Real Estate team has 70+ members operating out of 6 of our 7 offices. Our leasehold enfranchisement practice operates on a national basis regardless of the location of its practice members.

We are seeking a Partner who can work across both enfranchisement and technical leasehold residential real estate matters.

The leasehold enfranchisement practice is currently made up of two Partners, five fee earners and one assistant, working alongside a secretarial pool. Together the team advise on all aspects of leasehold enfranchisement, both non-contentious and contentious.

Beyond the core practice, there are supporting, specialist fee-earners in our corporate and tax teams, which ensure our clients receive a seamless end-to-end enfranchisement service.

The Work You Will Be Doing

You will be responsible for growing an existing team with a focus on technical-excellence, outstanding client service and business development.

  • Providing a vital interface between the practice members and the management of the overall enfranchisement practice
  • Being responsible for day to day management of practice members at all levels including recruitment, performance management, managing staff absences and holidays, technical matters that arise on a daily basis, overall team financial and compliance management and motivating the team to perform to the highest standards

  • Assisting with the development of processes and precedents within the enfranchisement sector
  • Conducting and documenting regular team meetings with sector members to encourage and instil a collaborative cross-office, cross-division and high performing practice

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
