Partner - Consultative Sales | London (in-office)
Retained search · Market-leading UK wealth-management AI company · $15M Series A
I'm running a retained search for a Partner (consultative sales) on behalf of the UK's leading AI platform for financial-advice firms - and it's one of the more interesting GTM briefs I've taken on this year.
The company
They're used by 500+ advice firms and 3,000+ advisers to capture client data, automate regulated workflows, and turn compliance from a burden into an advantage. Started with productivity tooling, now becoming the full operating system for advice. Series A-backed, growing fast, and expanding internationally.
Why this isn't a normal AE seat
As a Partner, you own the entire relationship with each advice firm - diagnosis, strategy, close, retention and expansion. It's closer to a consulting engagement than a demo. You become a genuine thought leader in the advice space, and over time run your own P&L and build a team beneath you.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
What the role involves
- Owning firm relationships end-to-end, from first conversation to multi-year expansion
- Running consultative, goals-based sales cycles (9-12 months at enterprise)
- Managing net revenue retention - upsells run at 3-4x existing ARR
- Acting as a strategic partner to firm leadership, not a vendor
- Representing the company at dinners, panels and industry events (growth is community-led)
Who I'm looking for
- A consultative, problem-solving seller who leads with strategy, not pressure
- High agency - you get on with it, ask for help early, and don't wait to be told
- A strong communicator and public speaker
- Resilient and comfortable in a fast, ambiguous, high-ownership environment
