Build a Business. Build a Team. Own the Success.
Allerton Bishop is a specialist executive search and interim recruitment business partnering with pharmaceutical, biotech, CDMO and consumer healthcare organisations across the UK, Europe and international markets.
Following continued growth, we are looking to speak with established Recruitment Directors, Managing Consultants, Business Directors and senior recruitment leaders interested in joining Allerton Bishop as a Partner.
We are offering experienced recruitment professionals the opportunity to build and lead their own business area within Allerton Bishop, with significant autonomy, access to an established platform and a genuine route to equity ownership through an agreed buy-in structure.
We are particularly interested in individuals who have already demonstrated that they can build successful recruitment teams, develop markets and generate sustainable client revenue. Most crucially, we are looking for professionals who will value a high class team environment based out of London to enable you to meet personal commitments.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

The Partner Opportunity
As a Partner, you will have the autonomy to develop a specialist market aligned with the wider Allerton Bishop strategy.
You will be responsible for building the client base, developing the proposition and, importantly, recruiting and leading your own team as the practice grows. Rather than inheriting a corporate structure, you'll have the opportunity to shape one.
Depending on your expertise, this could span Executive Search, Permanent Recruitment, Interim, Contract or Fractional leadership appointments across the UK, Europe or international markets.
This opportunity is aimed specifically at established recruitment professionals operating at Director level and above, including Recruitment Directors, Business Directors, Practice Leaders and experienced recruitment business leaders.
You will ideally demonstrate:
- A proven track record of building and leading successful recruitment teams.
- Evidence of developing a profitable recruitment desk, practice or business unit.
- Strong personal billing and business development credentials.
- Experience winning and developing significant client relationships.
- The ability to identify, recruit, develop and retain high-performing consultants.
- Strong commercial understanding of revenue, margin, cost and profitability.
- A credible network within your specialist market.
- Experience operating with senior and executive-level clients.
- An entrepreneurial approach and desire to create something with genuine long-term value.
- The ambition to move beyond being an employee and participate directly in the value you help create.
