Innovation is at the heart of SAP Fioneer.
With deep institutional knowledge and a strong technology foundation, SAP Fioneer delivers banking platforms that drive modernization and transformation across financial institutions globally.
As a Partner - Banking Transformation
You play a critical role in shaping transformation-ready solution designs and delivery programmes for large financial institutions. This position requires hands-on transformation and programme experience — bringing the credibility to understand complexity, delivery risks, and how large-scale modernization truly unfolds.
You operate largely in presales, but your delivery background empowers you to shape feasible roadmaps, assess client readiness, and ensure solution designs are grounded in operational reality. This makes you the key interface for banks transforming payments, core banking, cash management, global transaction banking, and surrounding processes.
Your Role
- Lead presales engagements where deep understanding of bank transformation is required to design feasible, executable solution visions and delivery roadmaps.
- Translate complex banking requirements into realistic transformation paths — covering operating models, data, processes, regulatory constraints, and platform architecture.
- Advise clients on transformation readiness, risks, dependencies, and change implications.
- Act as a trusted advisor to C-level leaders, particularly where technology-driven modernization intersects with operational change.
- Shape multi-year transformation roadmaps for payments, core banking, cash management functions.
- Lead and participate in co-design sessions, architecture workshops, and partner orchestration.
- Bring credibility by understanding how transformation actually scales — from implementations to migration strategies, process harmonisation and integration patterns.
- Identify and mitigate key risks early in the presales lifecycle to support successful client outcomes.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
