About the Role
This is a great opportunity to grow your career by leading and developing the existing Building Surveying Team in our Manchester office whilst being supported by this established multi-discipline practice.
We are seeking a passionate and focused Salaried Partner Building Surveyor who is looking to progress their career, working in a close-knit team. Sectors are varied but include public buildings and estates, residential and housing, education, retail, healthcare, commercial, and insurance work. You will be expected to be heavily involved in key client development, financial forecasting, team management, and growth.
What You Will Do
- Hands-on delivery of building surveying services
- Leading projects often coordinating our in-house multi-discipline design services
- Client management and development
- Supervising, managing, and mentoring junior members of the building surveying team
- Technical reviews to manage the quality of our services

The Skills and Experience You Need
- MRICS
- Consultancy experience in the Manchester Marketplace
- Be commercially minded with an enthusiasm for winning work and business development
- Be able to manage your own workload
- Capable of managing individual team members, organizing their work where necessary, and providing guidance on projects
- Good communication and client-facing skills
- A positive ‘can-do’ attitude
- Excellent all-round technical building surveying knowledge
- An analytical mind with a high level of intellect - combining excellent written and oral skills to produce considered and robust reports and recommendations
