An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and ambitious Salaried Partner Building Surveyor to lead and develop an established Building Surveying team within a highly respected, multidisciplinary property and construction consultancy in Leeds.

This role offers the chance to take a leading position within a successful and growing business, driving both team performance and client development while delivering a broad range of professional and project-based building surveying services across a diverse portfolio of sectors. These include public sector estates, residential, education, healthcare, retail, commercial property, and insurance work.

Your new role

  • Leading and growing an established Building Surveying team
  • Delivering a wide range of professional and project-based surveying services
  • Managing and developing key client relationships
  • Winning new business and identifying growth opportunities
  • Financial forecasting and team performance management
  • Leading multidisciplinary project teams
  • Mentoring, managing, and supporting junior surveyors
  • Carrying out technical reviews and ensuring quality delivery across projects

What you'll need to succeed

  • MRICS qualified status
  • Significant building surveying consultancy experience within the Leeds/Yorkshire market
  • Strong commercial awareness with a passion for business development
  • Excellent client-facing and relationship-building skills
  • Proven team leadership and management experience
  • Outstanding technical building surveying knowledge
  • Strong report writing and communication skills
  • The ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively
  • A proactive, positive, and solutions-focused approach
  • Strong leadership qualities
