Partner Designate Role
This role of Partner Designate has become available due to long term succession planning. Our client is a leading, independent firm in Sevenoaks and they are keen to identify and hire a Partner of the future.
Client Details
Our client is a leading independent accountancy firm in Sevenoaks. They have a rich history and they are planning for a prosperous future with the addition of a Partner Designate. This will be a key role for the firm and long term offer a route to become the 3rd Partner of the firm.
Description
- Manage a portfolio of sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
- Oversee and review accounts, financial statements, corporation tax, and personal tax returns.
- Build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and senior stakeholders.
- Ensure the timely and efficient delivery of client work and deadlines.
- Work closely with Partners to support the smooth running and growth of the practice.
- Contribute to business development, marketing initiatives, and audit assignments where desired.

Profile
A Successful Partner Designate Should Have
- ACCA/ACA qualified. Dual qualification of CTA preferred.
- Proven experience leading a team, winning new business, managing a portfolio over multiple years.
- Experience of accounting and tax work.
- Desire to build career to Partner level.
- A strategic mindset with attention to detail in operational delivery.

Job Offer
- Competitive salary ranging from £70,000 to £85,000 dependent on the level of experience.
- Permanent position in a leading accountancy firm in Sevenoaks.
- Long term progression route to Partner.
- 25 days annual leave (+ bank holidays).
