Position Summary
The Partner, EU Region is a senior leadership role responsible for establishing, growing, and leading the company’s healthcare IT consulting business across the European Union.
This is a remote role with international travel required. Reporting to the Chief Delivery Officer, the Partner will provide strategic, commercial, client, and operational leadership for the EU region while working closely with the company’s global delivery, revenue, technology, and corporate leadership teams.
The Partner will be responsible for developing the EU market, building strategic healthcare relationships, expanding the company’s regional client base, developing delivery capabilities, and creating a high-performing European organization.
The ideal candidate will bring significant healthcare IT experience, strong executive relationships, and previous experience working in the UK and EU EHR markets, along with demonstrated expertise with major EHR platforms, including MEDITECH and/or Epic.
In addition to regional responsibilities, the Partner will provide global practice leadership for MEDITECH services, helping establish and scale the company’s MEDITECH capabilities, talent, offerings, methodologies, and delivery model across international markets.
Key Responsibilities
1. EU Regional Leadership
- Develop and execute the company’s strategy for growth across the European Union.
- Identify priority countries, healthcare organizations, market segments, and strategic accounts.
- Establish and expand the company’s presence and reputation within the European healthcare IT market.
- Apply knowledge of the UK and EU EHR markets to identify market opportunities, client needs, competitive dynamics, and regulatory considerations.
- Build relationships with healthcare CEOs, CIOs, CMIOs, clinical leaders, technology executives, and other senior stakeholders.
- Develop regional revenue, profitability, pipeline, client growth, and market-development objectives.
- Serve as executive sponsor for strategic EU clients and engagements.
- Represent the company at European healthcare, technology, and industry events.
- Identify opportunities for strategic partnerships, alliances, and potential acquisitions.
- Develop the organizational capabilities, talent, and operating model required to scale the EU business.
2. Client and Business Development
- Develop trusted-advisor relationships with senior healthcare executives across the UK and EU.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across the EU.
- Partner with the Chief Revenue & Growth Officer and commercial organization on strategic pursuits.
- Lead or participate in major RFPs, proposals, presentations, negotiations, and client discussions.
- Develop strategic account plans for priority European clients.
- Expand existing client relationships through consulting, implementation, advisory, staffing, analytics, and managed services.
- Identify opportunities to introduce the company’s broader portfolio into European accounts.
- Maintain accountability for the quality and progression of the regional business pipeline.
- Leverage previous experience and relationships in the UK and EU EHR markets to accelerate market entry, client development, and revenue growth.

3. Global MEDITECH Practice Leadership
As part of the role’s global practice responsibilities, the Partner will work collaboratively with the Partner EHR:
- Provide strategic leadership for the company’s global MEDITECH practice.
- Develop and execute a global MEDITECH growth and service strategy.
- Expand MEDITECH consulting, implementation, optimization, advisory, staffing, and managed-services offerings.
- Develop standardized MEDITECH methodologies, accelerators, tools, and intellectual property.
- Establish a scalable global MEDITECH delivery model.
- Build and maintain a high-quality global MEDITECH talent pool.
- Identify emerging MEDITECH market opportunities and translate them into new services and revenue opportunities.
- Develop strategic relationships with MEDITECH and other relevant technology and healthcare partners.
- Serve as an executive-level subject matter leader for MEDITECH opportunities and strategic client engagements.
- Collaborate with global delivery and revenue leadership to expand MEDITECH services across North America, Europe, and other international markets.
4. EHR and Healthcare IT Expertise
The Partner will provide executive-level expertise across healthcare technology and EHR transformation, with particular value placed on experience with MEDITECH and Epic and a strong understanding of the UK and EU EHR landscape.
Relevant experience may include:
- Previous leadership, consulting, implementation, or commercial experience in the UK EHR market.
- Previous leadership, consulting, implementation, or commercial experience in EU EHR markets.
- MEDITECH Expanse.
- MEDITECH implementation and optimization.
- Epic implementations and optimization.
- Epic ecosystem and healthcare IT transformation.
- EHR strategy and transformation.
- Clinical and financial systems.
- Interoperability and integration.
- Healthcare data and analytics.
- Digital health transformation.
- EHR managed services.
- Application support and optimization.
- Workforce and staffing models for EHR programs.
- Understanding of regional healthcare systems, procurement environments, and EHR adoption trends.
The candidate does not need to be equally experienced in both Epic and MEDITECH. However, demonstrated expertise in one platform, combined with a strong understanding of the broader EHR ecosystem and previous experience in the UK and EU EHR markets, is highly desirable.
5. Delivery and Operational Leadership
- Partner with the Chief Delivery Officer to ensure successful execution of EU and global MEDITECH engagements.
- Maintain strong standards for delivery quality, client satisfaction, utilization, and profitability.
- Provide executive oversight of strategic or complex engagements.
- Establish scalable delivery practices appropriate for the European market.
- Ensure appropriate resources, capabilities, and leadership are available to support client commitments.
- Identify and address delivery risks and escalated client issues.
- Promote consistent delivery methodologies and quality standards across geographies.
6. Talent and Organizational Development

- Recruit and retain senior healthcare IT and EHR professionals.
- Develop a sustainable European talent pipeline.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition and People & Culture on workforce planning.
- Develop career paths and leadership capabilities for EU employees.
- Build and maintain a global MEDITECH talent strategy.
- Identify and develop future leaders within the regional business and MEDITECH practice.
- Foster collaboration between European and North American teams.
7. Strategic Partnerships and Market Development
- Establish strategic relationships with healthcare technology companies, EHR vendors, implementation partners, and industry organizations.
- Develop opportunities for joint solutions, co-selling, alliances, and referrals.
- Build the company’s visibility within the European healthcare IT community.
- Monitor healthcare IT and EHR market trends across the UK and EU and identify opportunities for new services.
- Represent the company as a senior thought leader within the healthcare technology industry.
Financial and Business Accountability
The Partner will work with the Chief Delivery Officer and executive leadership to establish and achieve objectives for:
- EU regional revenue.
- Gross margin.
- EBITDA contribution.
- New-client acquisition.
- Existing-client expansion.
- Sales pipeline.
- Client retention.
- Utilization.
- Delivery quality.
- Employee retention.
- Strategic partnerships.
- Global MEDITECH practice growth.
The specific P&L authority and financial targets will be established annually based on the company’s strategic plan.
Qualifications
Required Experience
- 12+ years of progressive experience in healthcare IT, consulting, EHR, or healthcare technology.
- Previous experience working in the UK and EU EHR markets.
- Significant experience working with healthcare providers, health systems, or healthcare organizations.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in a consulting, professional services, technology, or healthcare IT organization.
- Demonstrated experience developing client relationships and generating business.
- Experience leading teams across multiple geographies.
- Strong executive presence and ability to engage C-suite healthcare leaders.
- Experience operating in European or international healthcare markets.
- Demonstrated expertise with MEDITECH, Epic, or another major EHR platform.
Preferred Experience
- MEDITECH Expanse implementation, optimization, or transformation experience.
- Epic implementation, optimization, or transformation experience.
- Experience with both MEDITECH and Epic is highly desirable. Other EHR experience in addition to MEDITECH and/or Epic will be considered.
- Existing relationships with healthcare organizations in the UK and EU.
- Experience developing healthcare IT consulting or professional services businesses.
- Experience with managed services, staffing, advisory, or implementation services.
- Experience developing strategic technology partnerships.
- Experience building a new geography or scaling an existing business.
- Experience in a high-growth or private-equity-backed professional services organization.
