About The Role
Knight Frank is seeking a Partner, Group Head of Tax to join their Head Office in 55 Baker Street.
Reporting into the Group CFO, the role will work closely with the Senior Partner, Group Finance leadership, regional finance leaders, Legal, Company Secretariat, external advisers and senior stakeholders across the business. The Group Head of Tax will be responsible for ensuring that the Partnership has an effective tax governance framework, appropriate controls and a clear approach to tax risk management.
The role will provide regular advice and updates to relevant leadership and governance forums on tax strategy, material tax risks, regulatory developments and key areas of compliance.
Purpose
As a global partnership, our tax affairs are inherently complex, high-profile and strategically important.
The Partnership requires a senior, experienced and commercially minded Group Head of Tax to lead the tax function and provide expert advice across the Group, with particular emphasis on UK partnership tax.
The Group Head of Tax will play a critical role in ensuring that the Partnership’s tax strategy, governance, compliance and advisory capability are robust, forward-looking and aligned to the long-term ambitions of the business.
This will include advising on the tax implications of our partnership structure, partner remuneration and profit allocation, international operations, investment decisions, business transformation and evolving regulatory requirements.
This is a senior leadership role requiring deep technical expertise, excellent judgement and the ability to operate with credibility across a complex stakeholder environment.
The successful candidate will need to understand the dynamics of a professional services partnership, where influence, trust, discretion and sound judgement are as important as technical capability.
The role will act as a trusted adviser to the Group CFO, Senior Partner, Group leadership and relevant Boards, ensuring that tax considerations are properly understood, managed and embedded into key strategic and operational decisions.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
