The Role
You will win and lead work with senior pharma, biotech and medtech clients, owning a portfolio of priority accounts and a personal revenue target. A central aim of the role is to open doors for CF with global and EUCAN teams, with a primary focus on our priority therapy areas: cardiovascular, kidney and metabolic disease (CVKM), neurodegenerative disease and oncology. We will still take on work in other therapy areas where we can add value. You will lead delivery of the work you win and, with the Managing Partner, build the practice and its team. As a member of our senior leadership team, you will recruit, mentor and develop the next generation of leaders in health.
What you will bring
- A record of winning consulting or advisory work from senior pharma, biotech or medtech buyers, with evidence of revenue won and clients who came back for more.
- Close relationships with senior global and EUCAN leaders, such as general managers and heads of market access, medical and commercial, that you can use to make introductions.
- Well-formed views on launch, market access and reimbursement, and deep knowledge of how NICE, NHS England, MHRA, EMA and national HTA bodies shape adoption.
- Entrepreneurial drive and resilience: you create opportunities, are comfortable approaching senior people you have not met, and keep going after a loss.
- Experience leading complex engagements and multidisciplinary teams, in consulting, industry or both.
- A record of mentoring and growing consultants, and of thought leadership in writing and on stage.
- Desirable: a clinical, scientific or health economics background, and another European language.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What you will sell
- Launch and uptake excellence: accelerating uptake before, during and after launch through guidelines, pathways, delivery models, incentives, reimbursement and partnerships with health systems. Our data covers every medicine launched in the UK, so we can track past uptake and project the future path by indication and geography.
- Integrated evidence review and generation: finding the gaps a value proposition must fill for patients, physicians, providers and payers, and generating real-world evidence in as little as four weeks from patient-level data.
- Policy and government influence: shaping the conditions for innovation through regulators, HTA bodies, government and the media, using our own record-level data to publish new insight.
