Blue Light Card. Individually great, together unstoppable

The Role and the Team

The Partnerships Team at Blue Light Card is going through an exciting period of growth, and this Partner Manager role sits right at the heart of it.

You'll own the commercial performance of a portfolio of retail partners, building the kind of trusted, long-term relationships that go well beyond transactional account management. You'll set the strategy for most of your accounts, using data, insight, and market awareness to grow them. For the most senior partnerships, you'll work closely with a Category Lead - but you'll own the relationship and the day-to-day execution.

This is a role for someone who genuinely enjoys nurturing a portfolio and finding new ways to grow it. If you're at your best managing regular, purposeful partner contact - and you're energized by hitting commercial targets rather than hunting for new logos - this is the right environment for you.

What You'll Do

  • Own the commercial performance of your managed accounts, using revenue and retail media growth as your primary measures of success
  • Develop and maintain joint business plans for your full portfolio, ensuring clear objectives and measurable growth plans are in place and followed through
  • Set and evolve account strategy using data, consumer insight, and market conditions to identify growth opportunities and shape each partner proposition
  • Use the Offer Score Framework to prioritize the right commercial levers for each partner, whether offer strength, commission, retail media investment, or omni-channel expansion
  • Build strong, trusted relationships across your managed accounts, proactively identifying opportunities, resolving challenges, and delivering against agreed plans
  • Maintain an accurate commercial pipeline and revenue forecast, identifying risks early, and putting clear action plans in place to stay on track
  • Collaborate closely with your category lead and new partner acquisition colleagues to ensure the right opportunities are progressed by the right person at the right time
  • Support the growth of the wider team by passing inbound new business leads to the appropriate colleague where they fall outside your focus area

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
