About HiBob

HiBob helps modern, mid-size businesses transform the way they manage people, giving HR and managers everything they need to connect, engage, develop, and retain top talent. Since 2015, we've achieved consecutive triple-digit year-over-year growth, backed by an amazing team of Bobbers across the globe, making us the HR platform of choice for thousands of growing companies.

Our platform is intuitive, data-driven and built for the way people work today: globally, remotely and collaboratively.

Come and be you with us

Being a Bobber is all about being you. We want you to bring all parts of yourself to work, giving you the freedom and confidence to do your best work. Whether you're bubbly, precise, bold, kind, funny, curious or anything in between, we're waiting with open arms.

About the role

We’re building a new Venture Capital partner channel at HiBob, and we’re looking for a commercially minded Partner Manager - VC to help shape it from the ground up.

This is a highly hands-on role with ownership across the full partnership lifecycle - from identifying and recruiting new VC partners, to building trusted relationships, activating their portfolio companies and turning those relationships into qualified pipeline and closed-won revenue.

You’ll own the EMEA VC channel and build a portfolio of approximately 20–30 strategic VC partners, working closely with Sales, Marketing and Customer Success to create a repeatable model for partner engagement and growth.

The channel is being launched following the success of HiBob’s existing PE partner programme, giving you the opportunity to build something new while leveraging established messaging, collateral and internal expertise.

This is a great opportunity for someone who combines commercial instinct, partnership experience and a genuine understanding of the VC / investor ecosystem, and who enjoys building programmes where the playbook is still evolving.

Responsibilities

  • Own and grow HiBob’s EMEA VC partner channel, building relationships with strategic Venture Capital and investor partners.
  • Identify, prospect, recruit and onboard new VC partners, with a focus on creating a high-quality portfolio of approximately 20–30 partners.
  • Develop trusted relationships with VC firms, portfolio companies and senior stakeholders across the ecosystem.
  • Build tailored partnership plans and agreements aligned with HiBob’s commercial priorities.
  • Activate partners through portfolio engagement, joint marketing, events and other partnership initiatives.
  • Work closely with Sales to progress partner-introduced opportunities and convert relationships into pipeline and closed-won revenue.
  • Own quarterly KPIs and analyse partnership performance, identifying opportunities to improve partner engagement and commercial outcomes.
  • Build repeatable processes for partner recruitment, onboarding, activation, engagement and measurement.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing and Customer Success across the partnership lifecycle.
  • Represent HiBob at selected VC and investment events across EMEA.
  • Stay close to market trends and the evolving needs of VC-backed businesses, using these insights to improve the partner proposition and channel strategy.
  • Work closely with the existing PE partner team to share learnings, messaging and best practices.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of relevant professional experience in partnerships, business development, SaaS sales or a closely related commercial role.
  • Experience working with VC, PE, investor-backed companies or closely related startup/growth ecosystems.

  • Experience identifying, prospecting and activating new partners or commercial relationships.
  • Strong commercial judgement and the ability to connect partnerships to measurable pipeline and revenue outcomes.
  • A builder mindset - comfortable creating processes, testing approaches and operating with limited structure.
  • Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders and building credible relationships across partner organisations and portfolio companies.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, particularly with Sales, Marketing and Customer Success.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain commercial opportunities clearly and build relationships with different stakeholder groups.
  • A hands-on, proactive approach and the resilience to keep momentum when partner engagement or pipeline development takes time.
  • The ability to operate across an EMEA territory and travel approximately 5–10% when required.
