THE COMPANY

Sherpa Values: People Matter, Be Bold, We Are Driven – this is our mantra! We have big goals and exciting growth plans here at Sherpa, with a clear vision to be widely recognised as the best Channel agency in the world, with an enviable client list and an awesome team of thought leaders. Our culture is open and honest, where advancement, both career and personal, is being realised by our team members. We invest in all our people, and development is a core part of anyone’s time at Sherpa.

Sherpa services some of the world's fastest-growing technology companies, like Microsoft, Workday, Dropbox, Zoom, Sage & Verizon, and we are looking for a passionate, ambitious, keen-to-learn Partner Marketing Manager to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced marketer who’s looking to progress their career to work with well-known Enterprise tech businesses globally and expand their skill set within a specialist agency.

THE ROLE

As a Partner Marketing Manager, you’ll work within our world-class Project Delivery/ Client Services Team to create and deliver sophisticated omnichannel marketing campaigns that meet and exceed our client’s objectives.

The role supports our Operations/ Client Services Department, and its main responsibility is to ensure that all assigned projects are executed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality, with assistance from Operational Support Teams where required.

Reporting directly to the Head of Ops & Delivery, you’ll be relied upon to coordinate and successfully manage several client projects simultaneously - of which could take the form of B2B marketing campaigns and/or programmes within the Channel. You will determine the overall marketing strategy for each individual project you own, oversee project workflows, ensure that creative teams are briefed adequately, quality check project deliverables, and confidently provide regular stakeholder updates and reports on project performance (whatever the result).

In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to support the leadership team in implementing project management best practices whilst developing your own project management skills at a senior level.

THE PERSON

We’re looking for someone who can take the initiative and manage products independently (after an extensive onboarding programme, of course!) and isn’t afraid to take control and make decisions. You may not know “the Channel”, but that’s ok. We’re looking for someone who’s eager to learn, isn’t afraid to ask questions and is willing to expand their knowledge independently about our space in the world. Our values People Matter. Be Bold. We are Driven define Sherpa – learn more about our values here - http://www.thesherpagroup.com/life If you share similar values, then we’d love to hear from you (even if you don’t meet all the qualifications).

ROLE OBJECTIVES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Establish regular communication with clients in which Sherpa provides key project status updates and ensures high-quality communication between Sherpa and clients.
  • Ensure that industry knowledge and up-to-date marketing skills are consistently being maintained and developed and applied to project strategies effectively.
  • Understand and interpret client briefs to formulate sophisticated campaign strategies and project plans, and project requirements.
  • Maintain and update project schedules and assignments on our Project Management System (Workamajig)
  • Manage the project lifecycle to ensure timescales, budgets, and targets remain on track.
  • Monitor and build performance engagement reports for key project stakeholders.
  • Establish good working relations with clients, including Senior stakeholders.
  • Monitor the quality of project deliverables.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including the Client Success Team, Operational Support, Creative Teams, and Senior Leadership
  • Manage project risks, identify and mitigate potential roadblocks, and ensure that projects are delivered with excellence.
  • Demonstrate the ability to build and develop client relationships, identify the strengths and weaknesses of the client's proposition and add value where necessary to nurture and close account growth opportunities promptly.
  • Creation and maintenance of project GANTT charts and project timelines.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
