Partner Operation Specialist (B2B Sales Support)

Are you an organised, commercially minded professional with experience supporting B2B sales teams in the technology or telecommunications sector?

We are looking for a Partner Operation Specialist to join a growing sales team in Reading. Working closely with the sales team and manager, you will support business development initiatives, manage partner and customer relationships, and help drive business growth, all within a globally recognised technology brand with full training and support from day one.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a junior candidate to gain exposure to ICT solutions, channel partner ecosystems and strategic customer engagement, and to develop their career in the ICT sector.

What You Will Be Doing

Business Development & Sales Support

  • Support sales managers in identifying and developing new enterprise business opportunities.
  • Assist in preparing business proposals, quotations, presentations, and customer-facing materials.
  • Coordinate meetings and business discussions with customers, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Help manage the sales pipeline by supporting opportunity tracking and follow-up activities.
  • Conduct market research and monitor competitor activity.

Partner & Customer Engagement

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
  • Approach and engage with prospective clients and channel partners, scheduling meetings alongside the manager and team.
  • Act as a key point of contact between customers, partners, and internal teams.
  • Assist with account coordination to ensure smooth communication and delivery.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with internal departments to support business development and proposal delivery.
  • Coordinate activities across sales, operations, and supporting functions.

What We Are Looking For

  • 1-3 years of experience in a B2B Sales Support, Business Development Support, Sales Operations, or similar role.
  • Experience within the telecommunications, ICT, or technology sector.
  • Understanding of enterprise networking, storage, cloud, or IT infrastructure solutions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
  • Collaborative team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Fluent English communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel across the UK to attend customer meetings when required.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience working with channel partners, distributors, resellers, or indirect sales models.
  • Knowledge of enterprise ICT and networking markets.
  • Cisco CCNA or equivalent technical certification.
  • Experience supporting enterprise sales teams in a vendor, telecoms, or technology environment.
