Partner Operation Specialist - Industry Representative
Location: UK (Reading) – Office based Employment: Full time Contract Type: Fixed-Term (1 year rolling) Start Date: June 2026 Salary: £130–140 daily (dependent on experience)
About the Role
Position: Partner Operation Specialist - Industry Representative Company: Manning Global – a premier global managed services provider in ICT, AI, and Engineering
We’re seeking a talented Industry Representative to expand our elite delivery team, helping us deliver high-impact, cutting-edge services for global portfolios.
This role involves identifying, developing, and closing key business opportunities while fostering strong relationships with enterprise clients in strategic industries.
Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development:
- Seek out, identify, and close business opportunities with Key Accounts (End Customers)
- Develop and execute strategic business plans to penetrate new markets
- Drive increased revenue and profit to support company growth objectives

Account Management & Relationship Building:
- Enhance customer relationships with large enterprises (Education, Retail, ISP in the UK)
- Act as a single point of contact between Manning Global and assigned customer sets
- Collect and analyze marketing information to inform decision-making

Proposition & Strategy:
- Promote Manning Global’s technology solutions to assigned customer sets
- Create and present customer proposals, quotes, and business plans
- Cooperate with Channels & Technical Sales to deliver formal business proposals and presentations

Market Intelligence & Competitive Analysis:
- Track competitors and develop alternative strategic approaches
- Provide market feedback on offerings, prospect needs, and portfolio development ideas
- Stay informed on trends in Networking/Security and IT Infrastructure

Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with product management, marketing, and internal departments
- Attend industry events and technology forums
- Transfer knowledge to the technical sales team
Requirements
Experience & Skills
- 3+ years of Enterprise B2B sales/account management experience, specialising in indirect sales models
- Proven sales track record in securing deals with large enterprises
- Industry expertise in Education, Retail, or ISP sectors (UK focus)
- Deep understanding of the UK’s competitive enterprise market (Networking/Security & IT Infrastructure)
- Preferred: Direct relationships with Enterprise Large System Integrators

- Exceptional collaboration skills – able to drive alignment across stakeholders, product management, marketing, and channels
- Creativity and innovative thinking to solve complex business problems
- Negotiation expertise with a history of successfully pitching new business
- Strong English language proficiency (fluent in writing and speaking)
