Overview
Our client, an international law firm, is seeking a Partner Recruitment Coordinator to support senior-level recruitment across its global network.
Working closely with an experienced recruitment team, you will support the recruitment journey from market mapping and candidate identification through to onboarding. The role offers exposure to senior leadership, recruitment strategy, legal market intelligence and the commercial decision-making behind strategic growth.
This may particularly suit someone with senior recruitment experience or an aspiring solicitor with a strong interest in talent, strategy, and law firm growth.
Responsibilities
- Support lateral partner recruitment, helping deliver a structured and positive candidate experience from initial introduction through to onboarding.
- Conduct market mapping and monitor senior-level moves, competitor activity, and emerging legal market trends.
- Analyse market data, recruitment trends, and business needs to support recruitment strategy and growth decisions.
- Work with recruitment agencies, ensuring they have appropriate market information and supporting the management of terms, compliance, and related queries.
- Support the development of business cases for senior hires by gathering and analysing information on team structures, financial performance, market trends, and strategic priorities.
- Assist candidates and internal stakeholders with recruitment documentation, ensuring relevant commercial, client, conflicts, and compliance information is captured accurately.
- Support direct sourcing and confidential candidate approaches to identify potential senior talent.
- Work with partners and internal teams to provide insight into target markets and potential growth opportunities.

Requirements
- Strong understanding of the legal market and law firm structures, including senior recruitment dynamics and UK and international legal-sector trends, or a clear interest in developing this knowledge as an aspiring solicitor.
- Experience recruiting for partner or other senior roles, ideally within professional services or a legal environment, or demonstrable interest in talent, strategy, and law firm growth.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
- Ability to analyse market data, recruitment trends, and business needs to support informed decision-making.
- Confidence using tools and platforms to monitor the legal market, track senior moves, and support market mapping.
- Proactive and creative approach to improving recruitment processes and candidate experience.
- Understanding of, or willingness to develop knowledge of, diversity, equity, and inclusion best practice in recruitment.
