WHY BOX NEEDS YOU
Our EMEA Box Partner Sales team fosters innovation and collaborates with market-leading partners—including Salesforce, Slack, IBM, Capgemini, and CDW—as well as direct Go-To-Market teams to accelerate growth and win major enterprise deals. The EMEA Partner Management team manages 30–40 partner relationships across EMEA, organized geographically across the UK & Nordics, DACH, Southern, and MEA (Middle East & South Africa) to expand market reach, accelerate deal execution, and drive customer value.
As a Partner Sales Placement Student, you will act as a pivotal bridge between Box Sales teams and our global partner ecosystem, driving collaborative selling, building high-value use cases, and helping uncover transformative business opportunities.
During this 12-month placement based at our EMEA HQ in London, you will experience the inner workings of a high-growth cloud SaaS enterprise while mastering how to engage senior B2B decision-makers. You will gain hands-on commercial experience across pipeline generation, partner territory reviews, deal structuring, and co-marketing campaigns—making a measurable business impact while developing vital skills for a successful career in technology sales.

What You'll Do
- Act as a strategic bridge between the direct Box Sales teams and external partner organizations to drive collaborative pipeline growth.
- Building and maintaining Salesforce reports and tracking partner activity metrics.
- Collaborate directly with global partners (e.g., Salesforce, Slack, IBM, Capgemini, CDW) to generate high-quality sales leads and expand market reach.
- Support sales representatives and partner managers with deal structuring, negotiation preparation, and closing activities.
- Develop compelling, high-value customer use cases that demonstrate the combined power of Box and partner solutions.
- Coordinate and participate in joint partner marketing initiatives, campaigns, and industry networking events.
- Conduct visits to partner offices for account planning, territory reviews, and collaborative lead-generation sessions.
- Analyze regional sales data and market trends to contribute to Box's revenue growth plans aligned with EMEA and global strategies.
- Maintain strong operational balance and alignment between partner-led initiatives and Box direct sales motions.
Who You Are
We are an AI-first company. This means you approach your work with a growth mindset and find ways to leverage AI to help make faster, smarter decisions that will 10X your impact at Box.
- Education: Studies in Business, Management, Marketing, or Technology or related and currently enrolled as an undergraduate student on a recognized university placement/sandwich degree course returning to complete your final year of study in Autumn 2029.
- Work Authorization: Unrestricted right to work in the UK for the full duration of the 12-month placement.
- Communication & Relationship Building: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the confidence to build positive relationships across internal teams, external partners, and senior decision-makers.
- Commercial Mindset & Problem Solving: Inquisitive, proactive attitude with an interest in business strategy, problem solving, and uncovering new sales opportunities.
- Drive, Resilience & Detail Orientation: Motivated self-starter with a "can-do" attitude, strong organizational skills to balance priorities under deadlines, and the resilience to learn and grow from mistakes.
