Role Overview
Our client, a leading global technology distributor with a rapidly growing AWS business, is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Partner Solutions Architect to support and enable their growing network of AWS partners. This role sits at the intersection of technical consulting, partner enablement, solution design, and business development, and is ideal for someone who combines strong AWS technical expertise with commercial awareness and a genuine passion for helping partners succeed.
Working closely with downstream AWS partners, you will help them build, position, architect, and win AWS opportunities across migration, modernisation, cloud operations, security, data, AI/ML, and managed services. Acting as a trusted technical advisor, you will help partners develop scalable AWS practices while driving consumption and revenue growth across the partner ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead technical discovery workshops and architecture discussions, translating customer requirements and business outcomes into clear solution designs.
- Design secure, scalable, resilient, and cost-effective AWS solutions aligned to the AWS Well-Architected Framework.
- Support solution development across cloud migration and modernisation (MAP), landing zones and Control Tower, managed services, security and governance, data and analytics, and generative/agentic AI.
- Act as a trusted technical advisor to AWS partners, delivering workshops, demonstrations, technical briefings, and architecture reviews.
- Support partners in building AWS competencies, repeatable service offerings, and packaged go-to-market propositions.
- Provide guidance on AWS funding programmes, including MAP, POC funding, and other partner incentives.
- Work alongside partner sales teams to identify, qualify, and progress opportunities, supporting RFP/RFQ and proposal responses, business cases, and TCO analysis.
- Participate in customer presentations and executive-level discussions, providing technical leadership throughout the sales lifecycle.
- Build strong relationships with AWS Solution Architects, Partner Development Managers, and specialist teams to accelerate opportunities.
- Create reusable assets, reference architectures, templates, and best practices, and contribute to technical content, webinars, and partner events.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of AWS services, emerging technologies, and market trends.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
