Looking to start or develop your teaching career in Early Years with the support of another teacher alongside you?
Long Term Futures is recruiting an enthusiastic Early Years Partner Teacher for a primary school in Haringey. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ECT or developing teacher who wants genuine classroom responsibility while benefiting from a collaborative teaching environment.

The Role
- Work as an Early Years Partner Teacher within the EYFS team
- Collaborate closely on planning, teaching and assessment
- Deliver engaging, purposeful learning through play
- Plan strong continuous provision around children's interests and next steps
- Teach early phonics, literacy and maths
- Develop children's communication, language and vocabulary
- Use observations and assessment to inform future planning
- Differentiate learning for varying starting points and SEND
- Create a nurturing environment that develops independence and confidence
- Build positive relationships with children, colleagues and families

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
