Partner - Transaction Services

A boutique, independent transaction services firm is looking to hire at Partner level into its Transaction Services practice. This is a senior hire within a lean, high-impact, tech-enabled practice, advising private equity firms, corporates and financial sponsors on high-stakes buy-side and sell-side transactions.

The Role

You will take overall responsibility for overseeing financial due diligence and transaction execution across a variety of sectors and deal sizes, delivering commercial insights that directly shape deal outcomes for clients.

Working with senior leadership, you will build and nurture relationships with private equity firms, corporates and financial sponsors, acting as a trusted advisor throughout the transaction process. You will combine deep technical expertise with business development responsibility and people leadership, playing a central role in shaping the firm's service offerings, delivery models and go-to-market strategy, whilst mentoring and developing high-performing team members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee financial due diligence and transaction execution across a variety of sectors and deal sizes.
  • Build and nurture relationships with private equity firms, corporates and financial sponsors.
  • Identify, originate and support the pursuit of new business opportunities, contributing to the firm's growth agenda.
  • Mentor and develop high-performing team members, fostering a collaborative and ambitious culture.
  • Influence service offerings, delivery models and go-to-market strategies within the transaction services function.

Candidate Profile

  • Qualified accountant (ACA/CA/CPA or equivalent) with significant post-qualification experience.
  • Strong track record of delivering transaction services at a top-tier advisory or Big 4 firm.
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth through business development, with the ability to originate new client relationships and sustain trusted, long-term partnerships.
  • Commercially astute, strategic thinker with an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Proven experience developing and nurturing teams.
