Partnership Accountant UK Law Firm
Liverpool Street
Up to £70,000
A well-established UK law firm based close to Liverpool Street is looking for a Partnership Accountant to take ownership of partner drawings, remuneration, taxation and capital, and act as the go-to contact for partner financial matters.
What the Role Involves
Partnership Drawings & Remuneration
- Administering partner drawings throughout the year
- Managing annual and interim drawing adjustments
- Processing top-up payments and profit distributions
- Maintaining pension and tax information used in calculations
RemCom & Partnership Board Support
- Providing remuneration modelling and analysis
- Supporting partner scoring and remuneration reviews
- Preparing decision-support information and reports

Partnership Taxation
- Liaising with external tax advisers
- Managing partner tax return and payment processes
- Forecasting future payments on account and tax liabilities
Capital & Current Account Management
- Administering partner capital and loan arrangements
- Monitoring capital adequacy requirements
- Producing annual current account reporting and resolving queries
Accounting Records & Controls
- Maintaining accurate partner accounting records
- Working with Cashiering to ensure accurate payment processing
- Ensuring transactions are reconciled and appropriately recorded

Partner Advisory Services
- Acting as the primary contact for partner financial enquiries
- Supporting mortgage, loan and financial reference requests
What They Are Looking For
- Previous partnership accounting experience, ideally within a law firm or LLP
- Qualified or part-qualified (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) or qualified by experience
- Strong Excel and modelling skills with excellent attention to detail
- A confident, discreet communicator comfortable dealing directly with partners
