Partnerships & Ecosystem Manager

L Marks is the global leader in corporate innovation, trusted by many of the world’s most well-respected brands and organisations to identify, validate, and implement transformative solutions. We’re looking for a Partnerships & Ecosystem Manager to build the network of mentors, investors, community partners, and our alumni that helps startups on our programmes flourish.

Applicants are required to hold the relevant work Visas/Work Permits to work in the UK.

We are trusted by many of the world’s most well-respected brands, including BMW, Gymshark, and the English Football League, to support them in identifying and collaborating with the most promising startups and scale-ups in the industry.

The startups on our programmes are at the heart of what we do, and this role exists to make sure they get the best possible support, before, during, and long after their programme ends.

The Aim of This Role

The aim of this role is to build and community-manage the L Marks’ ecosystem of mentors, alumni, service providers, and investors, strengthening relationships, sharing opportunities, and increasing the visibility of L Marks.

Responsibilities

  • Sourcing new mentors aligned with the industries we work in, and matching participating startups with relevant industry experts across our programmes.
  • Owning our Perks & Services offering: vetting new offerings presented to us, conducting gap analysis, and establishing partnerships in high-demand areas (e.g. legal, cloud computing, co-working) so startups get real value from them.
  • Leading alumni engagement, from post-programme calls and feedback through to panels, mentoring, and success-story features on our social channels.
  • Cultivating investor relationships in new regions and industries, and facilitating connections between startups and investors to increase funding opportunities.
  • Keeping our wider network engaged, relationship building, sharing relevant opportunities such as event tickets, perks, and discounts, and maintaining accurate relationship records on the CRM.
  • Representing L Marks at ecosystem events, making strategic connections that widen our referral and marketing network and grow our presence.
  • Working closely with our Scouting, Delivery, and Marketing teams to ensure a joined-up approach across the ecosystem and to showcase the impact of our work.

The right person will be keen to learn quickly and have strong ambitions to build a career in the corporate innovation space.

You should have:

  • Fantastic people skills and great emotional intelligence.
  • A demonstrable interest in entrepreneurship, early-stage businesses, and/or innovation.
  • Good organisational skills and able to manage your workload independently.
  • Confidence (and a great sense of humour helps!).
  • A desire to grow quickly and remain adaptable to the developing needs of the startups.

Salary

£30,000 per annum
