Job Purpose
We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Partnership Lead to manage and activate a portfolio of key commercial partners within our Partnership Activation team.
This role is responsible for leading the strategic delivery of several high-profile global partnerships, ensuring they deliver measurable value for both the Club and its partners.
You will lead a portfolio of premium partners including Shirt Sleeve and Stadium Collective Partners, and oversee the management of other key Club partners acting as the senior leader to the account pillar team members and senior interface between partners, suppliers, and internal stakeholders across the Club.
This role requires a strategic leader who can translate partnership objectives into impactful campaigns, deliver best-in-class activation programmes, and identify opportunities to enhance partnership value.
The ideal candidate will also bring experience working with global brands and web3/ crypto partners, enabling the Club to unlock innovative digital activations, data-led marketing initiatives, and new fan engagement opportunities.

- Provide leadership and direction for partners and suppliers within the portfolio, ensuring a high standard of delivery and relationship management
- Act as the senior interface between partners and internal teams across the Club to ensure alignment and effective delivery of partnership objectives
- Be a thought leader creating and managing integrated campaigns spanning digital, content, experiential, and product-led activations that drive fan engagement and brand impact
- Develop and deliver best-in-class partnership activation strategies and marketing campaigns aligned to partner objectives and the Club’s wider commercial strategy
- Collaborate with internal teams including marketing, digital, content, media, and events to deliver integrated partnership programmes
- Maintain a strong understanding of the global sports sponsorship landscape and identify emerging trends that could benefit the Club
- Continuously assess partnership rights and activation opportunities to identify areas to enhance value and unlock incremental revenue opportunities
- Implement research and measurement frameworks that demonstrate return on partner investment (ROPI)
- Translate campaign performance and insights into compelling reporting and storytelling for partners and internal stakeholders
- Support departmental budgeting processes and manage activation budgets where required
- Due to the nature of the industry and the role, some out-of-office hours work would be required from time to time including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays
- Support the Club in achieving its overall objectives, including EDI
What you will bring
- Proven experience in partnership activation or sponsorship management within sport, entertainment, media, agency, or brand environments
- Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to build trusted partnerships internally and externally
- Strong project management skills and the ability to lead cross-functional teams
- Proven experience operating in a fast-paced and high-profile commercial environment
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify opportunities to maximise partnership value
- Proficient understanding of the global sports sponsorship landscape, including key growth markets such as Asia and North America
- Demonstrated ability to develop innovative partnership programmes that deliver measurable impact
- Elevated level of experience working with commercial contracts and managing partnership budgets to maintain partnership portfolio profitability
- Ideally would have experience working in Web3 and/or Crypto partnerships
- Experienced in Microsoft Office, CRM asset management, and financial budget systems
