At Converge Technology Solutions, we're looking for an ambitious and customer-focused Partnership Manager to join our Public Sector team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in expanding strategic partnerships, driving revenue growth, and helping our customers achieve their technology objectives.
About the Role
As a Partnership Manager, you will be responsible for developing and managing long-term relationships with key customers and partners while identifying opportunities to grow existing accounts and win new business. Working closely with the Head of Partnerships, you will drive sales performance through strategic account management, solution selling, and stakeholder engagement across the public sector.
You will act as a trusted advisor to customers, helping them navigate their IT requirements and ensuring they receive innovative technology solutions that support their goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain senior-level relationships within customer and prospect organisations.
- Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities.
- Grow revenue, gross profit, and recurring income across existing accounts.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend tailored technology solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure exceptional customer service and project delivery.
- Prepare accurate forecasts, reports, and account plans.
- Resolve customer issues promptly and effectively.
- Support Converge's sustainability initiatives and company values.
What You'll Bring
Essential
- 5+ years' experience in technology sales, account management, or business development.
- Experience in Public Sector accounts – specifically Local Government or Housing.
- Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Strong solution-selling and consultative sales skills.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and relationship-building abilities.
- Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail.
- Experience engaging with senior stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and sales forecasting tools.
- Degree-level qualification or equivalent experience.
