Brand & Partnerships Manager
Part-Time (24 Hours Per Week) | Temporary Contract (Up to 6 Months) | Starting 2nd November | Remote
Join an Ambitious Independent Trade Publisher
Our client is a fast-growing independent trade publisher with a strong reputation for creating premium products and building meaningful connections with readers and communities. As they enter an exciting phase of growth, they are looking to appoint a commercially minded Brand & Partnerships Manager to help expand their reach, develop strategic partnerships and drive new opportunities.
This is a highly varied, people-focused role combining partnership development, business development, brand awareness and stakeholder engagement.
The Role
Working closely with senior leadership, you'll identify and develop partnerships across universities, schools, libraries, charities, booksellers and other organisations, turning conversations into long-term commercial opportunities.
You'll represent the business at events, conferences and networking opportunities, helping to grow both brand awareness and revenue through creative partnership activity.

- Develop and grow partnerships with Bookshops, universities, schools, libraries, and retailers.
- Drive subscription growth and audience engagement.
- Identify and convert new commercial opportunities.
- Represent the brand at industry events, freshers' fairs and networking opportunities.
- Build relationships with senior stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Develop innovative routes to market and partnership opportunities.
- Contribute directly to brand growth and revenue generation.
About You
You'll be a proactive, professional and commercially driven individual who enjoys building relationships and creating opportunities.
You will demonstrate:
- A proven track record of converting leads into partnerships, sales or commercial outcomes.
- Strong relationship-building and networking skills.
- A consultative, solutions-focused approach.
- Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders.
- Creativity in identifying new channels and opportunities.
- The ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery.
- A highly professional and credible approach.
This role could suit someone from a trade publishing, educational publishing, academic publishing, partnerships, business development or premium consumer brand background. More important than sector experience is the ability to build credibility, develop relationships and convert opportunities into tangible results.
