A significant milestone for Cristini S.p.A.: our PM2 has now been installed at Stora Enso,.
And this is certainly not just another paper machine. PM2 is one of the world's fastest presses for lightweight recycled containerboard, designed to run at 1,800 m/min. In 2024, it reached 1,801 m/min for more than 25 hours, producing.
At these speeds, the press section is a true engineering challenge.
The positions supplied by Cristini are particularly critical for. Stability, permeability, cleanliness, nip performance and moisture removal all become decisive when running at 1,800 m/min.
Being one of the key suppliers supporting such a machine makes us extremely proud.
But there is something else that makes this milestone special. Cristini and Stora Enso are both family businesses, driven by long-term thinking, technical excellence, continuous innovation and partnerships built on trust.
And what better place to put that philosophy into practice than on a 10+ metre-wide, 1,800 m/min monster machine producing lightweight paper from 100% recycled fibre?
