About the Role
We are seeking a high-calibre, proactive Partnership Strategist to join our dynamic team. This pivotal role will drive new business growth, revenue diversification and strategic agency partnerships, while developing innovative, award-winning ideas across the Mail Metro Media ecosystem.
You will combine commercial thinking, creativity, insight and expert client management to turn client challenges into big ideas that deliver measurable results - from initial opportunity and ideation through to pitch, delivery, PCA and long-term growth.
This role will:
- Drive New Business Growth: Proactively identify and develop new revenue opportunities, creating compelling creative solutions beyond traditional media models
- Champion Creativity: Develop and sell best-in-class, award-winning ideas that harness the full power of the Mail Metro Media ecosystem
- Own Client Partnerships: Build trusted senior agency and client relationships, becoming a strategic partner from first conversation through to campaign delivery and beyond
- Lead End-to-End Servicing: Own the client journey across strategy, ideation, pitching, execution, performance and future opportunities, ensuring an exceptional experience at every stage
- Master Pipeline Precision: Take ownership of the sales funnel, with rigorous Salesforce management, forecasting and pipeline accuracy
- Champion Data-Led Ideas: Use audience insight, market intelligence, product data and cultural trends to make ideas more relevant, distinctive and effective
- Diversify Revenue: Identify new categories, partnerships and commercial opportunities to unlock incremental growth
Key Responsibilities
- Build influential relationships across key Tier 1 and Tier 2 agency partners
- Develop high-quality, large-scale and long-term media plans and creative propositions
- Create proactive ideas that generate briefs rather than simply respond to them
- Collaborate with Creative, Insights, Creative Ops and Project Management to deliver exceptional campaigns end-to-end
- Deliver impactful PCAs that turn performance and insight into upsell, renewal and future opportunities
- Maintain a comprehensive Salesforce view of clients, agencies, competitors and pipeline
- Identify new products, categories and partnership opportunities across the Mail Metro Media ecosystem

Person Specification
- 3+ years’ experience within the UK media, advertising or creative industry, with a strong track record of pitching and delivering 360° partnerships
- A creative and commercial thinker with a passion for developing innovative, award-winning ideas that deliver results
- Proven experience managing end-to-end client relationships, from initial brief and ideation through to delivery, PCA and future growth
- Confident building trusted relationships with senior agency and client stakeholders
- Strong strategic storyteller, able to turn insight, data and client challenges into compelling propositions
- Highly proactive, entrepreneurial and collaborative, with a “make it happen” mindset
- Commercially astute, with experience identifying new opportunities, growing accounts and driving revenue
