Partnership Tax Manager - in-house
Location: London
The Opportunity
My client - a prestigious professional services organisation is recruiting a Partnership Tax Manager to join its in-house tax team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced partnership tax professional to take ownership of partnership tax compliance and advisory matters within a highly respected and complex business environment. Working closely with senior tax leadership, you will play a key role in supporting partners, managing tax compliance obligations, and driving process improvements across the function.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the preparation of partnership tax computations and tax returns (Review)
- Oversee basis period reform compliance and related tax reporting requirements
- Support year-end tax reserving processes and partners' capital account calculations
- Manage the day-to-day partnership tax compliance cycle, including HMRC correspondence and tax payments
- Prepare reconciliations, journals, and support audit-related requirements
- Assist with international tax compliance matters, including overseas entities and branch operations
- Support reporting obligations relating to Pillar Two, Country-by-Country Reporting and transfer pricing
- Work on a variety of partnership-related tax projects and advisory matters
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, external advisers and HMRC
- Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement, automation and enhanced use of tax technology

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess:
- ATT, CTA, ACA, ACCA or an equivalent professional qualification
- Relevant experience within partnership tax
- Strong technical knowledge of partnership taxation and related compliance requirements
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivots, complex formulas and data analysis
- Strong reconciliation, financial reporting and analytical capabilities
- High attention to detail with a methodical approach to problem-solving
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver to tight deadlines
