About Prosper Global
Barely enough is not enough for anyone. Prosper Global is a humanitarian organization working alongside communities facing conflict, climate change, and economic hardship to meet urgent needs and create the conditions for lasting progress. Today's challenges demand new solutions, so we pair local knowledge with global resources to help communities build what's needed, test what's possible, and scale what's proven so that people everywhere can pursue a full life on their own terms. In 2026, we changed our name from Mercy Corps to Prosper Global, to reflect our belief that when every community can prosper, all of humanity moves forward.
The Program / Department / Team
The Philanthropic Growth and Engagement department (PG&E) raises private funds by cultivating and maintaining relationships with private donors; defines the agency's brand, raising our public profile and sharing stories about our work with the media, the public and our supporters; and produces a wide range of online and offline communications.
Within PG&E, the Corporate Partnerships team develops and executes partnership strategies to grow revenue from leading global companies. In Europe, the team manages Prosper Global's relationships with major UK and European companies, their corporate foundations and their employees, securing six and seven-figure investments, in-kind and pro bono support, brand visibility and thought partnership. We build meaningful partnerships through outstanding relationship management, co-creation and a focus on shared value, working closely with colleagues across programmes, marketing and communications, the executive office and our country teams around the world.
The Position
The Partnerships and Engagement Officer supports the growth of Prosper Global's corporate partnerships across Europe in support of the Pathway to Prosperity (P2P). The postholder will manage a portfolio of European corporate partners and prospects, supporting the full partnership lifecycle from new business development through closing, stewardship and renewal, and will work closely with the Corporate Partnerships Manager to advance the team's highest-value relationships.
Approximately 70% of the role focuses on corporate partnership development and portfolio management. The remaining 30% leads Prosper Global's employee impact work in Europe, identifying where employee engagement and workplace giving can deepen corporate relationships and grow unrestricted income. The successful candidate will bring relationship management and business development experience, an understanding of the European corporate giving landscape, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to manage complex projects across teams and time zones.
Essential Responsibilities
Portfolio and Relationship Management
- Manage a portfolio of European corporate partners and prospects, supporting the full donor lifecycle, including business development, proposal development, closing, stewardship and renewal, to retain and grow giving levels.
- In collaboration with the Corporate Partnerships Manager, develop and implement plans for partnerships in the portfolio, aligned with P2P priorities and each partner's own business and social impact goals.
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned partners, responding to outreach and questions and identifying wider opportunities for collaboration.
- Support the Corporate Partnerships Manager on key accounts, deputising where needed, and provide business development, stewardship and communications support to corporate donors and prospects beyond the assigned portfolio.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
