The Opportunity
We are recruiting a Partnerships Associate for a fast-growing UK payments technology company.
This is an entry-level opportunity for an ambitious graduate or early-career professional who wants to develop a commercial career within FinTech, payments, and strategic partnerships.
You don't necessarily need to be looking for your first job. You may have recently started your career but discovered that your current position doesn't offer the environment, development, or industry exposure you're looking for.
You'll join an experienced commercial team and learn how partnerships are identified, developed, launched, and managed within a growing payments business.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll support the Partnerships team across new and existing commercial relationships, gradually taking on more responsibility as your knowledge and experience develop.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the identification and research of potential strategic partners.
- Helping prepare for meetings with prospective and existing partners.
- Supporting the development and ongoing management of partner relationships.
- Coordinating actions between partners and internal commercial, product, operational, and technical teams.
- Conducting market and competitor research.
- Maintaining accurate information relating to partnership opportunities and activity.
- Supporting partnership onboarding and implementation.
- Helping monitor the commercial performance of existing partnerships.
- Preparing presentations, reports, and commercial information.
- Identifying opportunities to strengthen existing relationships or develop new ones.
- Building knowledge of payments, FinTech, and the wider financial services ecosystem.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
