About the Role
GardenOfLove is a UK-based platform connecting individuals, verified charities, and businesses through giving, volunteering, and community. We're looking for a Partnerships & Business Development Manager to help us grow and manage those relationships as we expand across the charity, university, and corporate sectors.
This is a hands-on, relationship-driven role for someone comfortable moving between long-term trust-building and direct commercial conversations, often in the same week.
What You'll Be Doing
- Charity partnerships: identifying, approaching, and onboarding verified UK charities onto the platform, and maintaining strong ongoing relationships with them.
- University partnerships: leading outreach to universities for student wellbeing initiatives, campus Gardens, and pilot programmes.
- Corporate Gardens sales: managing the full sales process for our B2B CSR product, from first outreach through to signed, onboarded corporate clients.
- Sector networking: representing GardenOfLove at relevant events and conferences across the charity and corporate sectors.
- General business development: identifying new partnership opportunities, including with media, incubators, and adjacent organisations, and helping shape how we approach them.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
