Job Title: Partnerships & Business Development Manager

Location: Durham

Salary: £35,000 per annum

Hours: Monday - Friday with an early finish on a Friday!

Build relationships. Open doors. Create opportunities. Make an impact.

Are you a natural networker who enjoys building relationships, spotting opportunities and turning conversations into action?

Do you thrive in environments where you can meet senior stakeholders, develop partnerships, represent an organisation and have the freedom to make things happen?

If so, this could be an opportunity worth knowing about.

We're working with a high profile, forward thinking organisation that is looking for an ambitious Stakeholder Engagement & Development Manager to play a key role in its continued growth and development.

This is far from a conventional stakeholder engagement role. You'll be at the heart of the organisation's external relationships - developing partnerships, identifying opportunities, engaging senior stakeholders and representing the organisation at high profile UK and international events.

You'll work across business development, partnerships, stakeholder engagement, events, marketing, research and strategic projects, giving you genuine variety and significant responsibility. And importantly, no two days will look the same!

Your Duties as Partnerships & Business Development Manager will include:

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
