Reporting to: Business Development Manager
Site: Home-based/Hybrid with travel (option to work from our Canterbury and East London clinics) - Kent/London based preferred due to geography of client base
Hours: Full-time 37.5 hrs/week Monday – Friday
Salary: £26,300 - £29,000
The role sits between business development, client relationship management, and practical business support. You’ll help us keep our systems organised, support new and existing clients, and contribute to projects that make the business run more smoothly.
It would suit an outgoing, confident person who's excited to learn the ins and outs of occupational health, enjoys keeping their admin on point, is interested in sales and building strong relationships, and is good with Excel and other Microsoft products.

This is even truer of this role, which includes business support – a function that responds to business need, working across different projects, taking ownership of problems or inefficiencies, and finding solutions.
We're looking for a great all-rounder who can keep the wheels turning while keeping an eye on the bigger picture. There are some repetitive tasks alongside a variety of other tasks and projects to sink your teeth into, so there's a real opportunity to learn and get experience in a range of different areas. As part of this role, you will:
- Maintain our CRM system and become our CRM champion.
- Support the Business Development Manager with sales admin and business development.
- Handle straightforward sales enquiries in liaison with the operations and clinical teams.
- Liaise with clients to ensure smooth onboarding and handover to ops.
- Produce monthly management information reports for clients.
- Attend business shows and exhibitions to represent AHM.
- Visit AHM’s Head Office in Canterbury at least two days a month.
- Visit client sites with the Business Development Manager and independently to hold sales or client care meetings.
- Support the board of directors with a variety of tasks and responsibilities as required (such as arranging company away days and team training, sending out contracts to third-party providers and tracking responses, arranging uniform orders etc.)
- Respond to business need by working on current projects led by the board of directors.
- Be an ambassador for AHM's human-focused, kind, and bold ethos.
- Be a present and active member of our company, seeking always to support the business.

Requirements
Essential:
- Previous sales or client care experience
- Confident Microsoft user including Excel, Outlook, SharePoint
- Flexible and willing to pitch in (at a healthy level)
- Mature self-management of time, energy, and workload
- Willing to undergo DBS check
- Willing and able to travel to AHM clinics and clinic sites across the UK
Preferred:
- Knowledge of occupational health
- Knowledge of health & safety
- Knowledge of GDPR
- Experience of Excel pivot tables
- Kent/London based
