Partnership Consultant (Colleges West Midlands)

Location: Working from home and delivery across the West Midlands region

Salary: £600 per day by invoice (40 days per year initially)

Colleges West Midlands (CWM) is a long-standing strategic partnership between the eighteen further education colleges based in the region (Home - Colleges West Midlands). Our shared mission is to deliver the modern skills that drive business growth and regional prosperity, while empowering people of all ages, backgrounds, and circumstances to thrive through the transformational power of learning. Through a number of collaborative working groups we come together to tackle some of the region’s challenges and work with external stakeholders including the West Midlands Combined Authority on the development of new programmes and solutions to meet the needs of businesses and residents across the region. CWM is looking for an additional member of our central team to work with principals from the member colleges on the design and delivery of our collaborative work. This would include agreeing an annual set of objectives and operational groups with member colleges and then overseeing the delivery of these objectives and the reporting of progress to the Principal’s Group. You will provide leadership of CWM operational groups, working with colleagues from across the member colleges on the delivery of agreed actions. You would also be required to work closely with a number of regional stakeholders in the design and implementation of regional solutions.

The successful candidate would bring significant senior education leadership experience, knowledge of West Midlands further education landscape and regional stakeholders, as well as proven experience in delivering successful collaborative projects across multiple institutions.
