Currently achieving 0-100 kmh in 1.8 seconds.
Using the spectacle of sport, we are sending a powerful and meaningful message to help alter perceptions and speed-up the switch to electric mobility.
The Role:
Reporting to the VP Partnerships, the Partnerships Director provides strategic leadership and account oversight for Formula E's global commercial partners. In this leadership role, you will act as a trusted advisor to C-suite and executive partner stakeholders, translating their commercial objectives into high-impact partnership strategies. You will lead cross-functional delivery teams, maximise rights activation, and drive long-term partner retention, renewals, and incremental revenue growth across our global championship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Portfolio Leadership: Own senior stakeholder relationships across an allocated portfolio of global commercial partners, developing multi-year joint business plans aligned with their priorities.
- Commercial Growth & Renewals: Drive account growth through upsell, new market integrations, and expanded rights, while leading proactive renewal strategies well ahead of contract expiry.
- High-Impact Activation: Translate complex contractual rights into compelling brand and marketing activation programmes across global race markets.
- Measurement & Data Insights: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and utilise audience, digital, and media analytics to demonstrate clear return on investment (ROI) and partnership value.
- Cross-Functional Champion: Mobilise internal teams across the business to deliver integrated partner campaigns.
- Operational & Financial Control: Oversee partner activation budgets, contractual tracking, commercial forecasting, and governance to maintain high service standards.

What we're looking for in you:
- Strategic Track Record: Significant experience managing major commercial partnerships, sponsorships, or strategic client relationships within sport, entertainment, media, or rights-led environments.
- Commercial Acumen: Demonstrated success retaining and growing major global accounts through renewals, upsell, and incremental investment, backed by strong negotiation skills.
- Activation & Delivery: Proven ability to design and execute multi-channel, global partnership activations across complex matrix organisations.
- Executive Presence: Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills with immediate credibility when presenting to C-level executives.
- Data-Driven Approach: Strategic, commercially minded thinker skilled at using data, analytics, and insights to measure impact and inform business decisions.
- Mindset: A proactive, ambitious leader with a natural curiosity about partners' businesses and a focus on long-term value creation.

This is a hybrid role and you'll be required to do 3 days a week in our Hammersmith London office
