About the Role
Looking to build your career in partnerships, sponsorship and events? As Partnerships Executive at Cheltenham Racecourse, you’ll help develop new commercial opportunities, build relationships with local partners and support the delivery of sponsorship activations across our racedays and major Festivals.

The Partnerships Executive will
- Support the growth of partnerships at Cheltenham Racecourse, contributing to new business, renewals, retention and commercial targets.
- Help identify and develop new sponsorship, Shopping Village and trade stand opportunities, from prospect research and lead generation through to proposals and follow-up.
- Build strong relationships with local partners, sponsors and exhibitors, providing a professional and responsive day-to-day service.
- Manage assigned partner accounts, ensuring sponsorship rights and benefits are delivered brilliantly throughout the year.
- Play a key role in bringing partnerships to life on racedays, taking responsibility for branding allocations, hospitality requirements, invoicing, ticket distribution, race conditions and trophies.
- Leading the successful delivery of the Shopping Village and trade stands, working with exhibitors and internal teams to ensure everything runs smoothly.
- Spot opportunities to grow existing relationships through renewals, upselling and additional partnership opportunities.
- Work across the racecourse and wider Partnerships team to deliver memorable activations and outstanding experiences for partners, exhibitors and their guests.

About You
- Some experience in administration, sales support, business development, partnerships or commercial support, ideally within sport, leisure, entertainment, hospitality or events.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage different tasks and deadlines in a busy environment.
- A confident and professional communicator, comfortable building positive relationships with partners, prospects, exhibitors, colleagues and suppliers.
- Commercially curious, with an interest in developing experience across sales, sponsorship, local business development and partner relationship management.
- Comfortable supporting prospect research, lead generation, proposals, sales administration, bookings and renewals, with plenty of opportunity to develop these skills further.
- Some experience of, or an interest in, client servicing, events, hospitality, branding, ticketing or event delivery.
- Comfortable using CRM and business systems, with good written communication skills and a reliable approach to administration and keeping information accurate.
- A positive, proactive and hands-on approach, happy to pick up the phone, get involved on racedays and work occasional evenings and weekends when required.
