Contract type: Permanent

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Partnerships Executive to join our commercial team, supporting partnership activity across Aintree and Haydock Park Racecourses.

Working closely with the Partnerships Manager, you will help acquire, manage, retain and grow relationships with local partners, coordinate the successful delivery of partnership rights and provide raceday support for National Partners.

You will play an important role in delivering an excellent experience for our partners, ensuring contractual rights are fulfilled, objectives are understood and every aspect of their involvement is professionally managed.

The role will also support the delivery of the local Partnerships budget through local sponsorship sales, partner renewals, account growth and the development of a strong pipeline of new opportunities.

The Partnerships Executive will

  • Manage and develop relationships with an assigned portfolio of local partners, with support from the Partnerships Manager where required.
  • Support the Partnerships Manager with the management, renewal and growth of local partnership accounts.
  • Support the delivery of the local Partnerships budget by identifying renewal, upsell and new-business opportunities.
  • Manage appropriate local sponsorship enquiries from initial contact through to proposal and contract stage, with support and approval from the Partnerships Manager.
  • Develop a strong understanding of available local inventory and proactively identify suitable prospects and partnership opportunities.
  • Coordinate the delivery and activation of local partnerships across Aintree and Haydock Park.
  • Support the racecourse delivery of National Partners, working closely with the relevant central Partnerships colleagues.
  • Deliver a best-in-class service to partners, ensuring contracted rights are fulfilled and partner objectives are understood and supported.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across Marketing, Racing, Operations, Customer Experience, Hospitality and the wider Partnerships team.
  • Coordinate all administrative and operational requirements associated with partnership delivery, including branding, accreditation, tickets, hospitality, race conditions, trophies and invoicing.
  • Liaise with signage contractors, agencies and internal teams to ensure branding and activation requirements are delivered accurately and on time.
  • Attend racedays and events as required, providing a high level of partner hosting and customer service.
  • Arrange and attend partner meetings, activation planning sessions and post-event reviews.
  • Prepare timely post-event reports, photography and evidence of rights delivery.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records, including account activity, opportunities, contracts, renewals and pipeline information.

About you

  • Experience of working in a commercial, sales, account-management or client-facing environment.
  • A strong interest in partnerships, sponsorship, sport, live events or hospitality.
  • Experience of managing client relationships and delivering a high standard of customer service.
  • Commercially minded, with the confidence to identify sales, renewal and account-growth opportunities.
  • A positive, hands-on and solutions-focused approach.
  • Highly organised, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage several priorities at once.
  • A structured and process-driven approach to planning and delivery.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, including attending racedays and events.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confident using CRM systems, Microsoft Office and other digital platforms.
  • Able to build effective working relationships with partners, colleagues, suppliers and agencies.
