Contract Type: Permanent, full time
Location: Various SCFC sites across Salford and Manchester.
The Purpose:
Salford City FC is seeking a proactive, commercially astute professional to join our team as Partnerships Executive. This role will support strategic relationships with our partners, helping them to maximise their usage of SCFC rights and best achieve their business goals.
The role will ensure that all contractual rights and obligations are fulfilled, partner objectives are met, and long-term relationships are developed. It will also support in the go-to-market sales process, the on-boarding of new partners, partner results evaluation and analysis, and renewal targets.
They will liaise cross-functionally with colleagues in finance, editorial, social, content, football operations, and our Club Foundation, to ensure cohesive working that benefits the Club. They will also be expected to support across the commercial team as required – from retail to hospitality.
The Role:
- Support the Head of Principal Partnerships to manage and grow day-to-day relationships with global and club commercial partners, acting as the key point of contact.
- Deliver partnership rights and obligations to the highest standards, across digital, matchday, and community channels.
- Help to develop and execute activation plans in collaboration with internal teams including marketing, content, matchday operations, and community engagement.
- Track and measure partnership performance, providing clear reports and insights to partners, the Head of Principal Partnerships and the Chief Business Officer.
- Identify and implement innovative activation opportunities that enhance both the partner’s brand and Salford City FC’s profile.
- Ensure seamless brand integration across all club platforms, maintaining a premium and professional standard.
- Support the go-to-market sales process, new partner identification and prospecting.
- Cross-Departmental work and involvement across the Commercial team to support as needed.
- Willingness and ability to work evenings/weekends and travel for fixtures and partner events.

The Person:
- Experience in partnership management and/or brand activations, ideally within sport, entertainment or media sectors.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.

- You’ll be proactive and able to review and digest data. Building narratives that deepen engagement and unlock growth.
- Comfortable in working with a variety of stakeholders, you’ll represent the club with integrity and energy at every event, adapting to the demands of a fast-paced and busy schedule.
- You’ll be a collaborative force in this role, and you’ll work seamlessly across teams to ensure partner success while contributing to the club’s wider commercial goals.

Your commitment to delivering exceptional partner experiences will sometimes extend beyond standard office hours, and we’ll ensure you’re supported to do so in a way that’s balanced and rewarding. You’ll need a full, clean driving licence for the role and the ability to travel when needed.
