Job Title: Partnerships Executive

Location: Hersham, Surrey (KT12 3PW)

Start date: ASAP

Job Type: Full-time

Salary range: £26,500-£27,000 + commission (OTE of £30,000 - £35,000)

Type of work: Office-based (Hybrid) & Events

Role Overview

The Partnerships Executive will be responsible for assisting in the generation of single-event and multi-event partnership opportunities from both new business leads and expanding existing partnership accounts. The role will see you supporting initial conversations and pitches, right the way through to partnership rights delivery and renewal conversations; ensuring our partner’s needs are met and upselling opportunities are maximised.

Key Responsibilities

Partnership Sales and Lead Generation

  • Support the identification of new partnership opportunities by researching prospective brands and sectors that align with RunThrough's events.
  • Prospective partner outreach, arranging introductory meetings and supporting the preparation of partnership proposals, presentations and contracts.
  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of prospective partners, keeping CRM records accurate and up to date.
  • Work closely with the Partnerships team and B2B Marketing team to generate new leads and identify opportunities for partnership growth.

  • Support the day-to-day management of partnership accounts, maintaining regular communication with partners throughout the partnership lifecycle.
  • Assist with partner check-ins, post-event debriefs and renewal discussions, helping to ensure a positive partner experience.
  • Re-engage previous partners to explore future opportunities and support cross-selling across the wider RunThrough event portfolio.
  • Respond promptly to partner enquiries and provide administrative support where required.

Partnership Delivery

  • Work collaboratively with the Partnerships, Marketing and Operations teams to ensure partnership rights and deliverables are fulfilled accurately and on time.
  • Assist with coordinating partner activations before, during and after events, ensuring a high standard of delivery.
  • Attend events to support partner activations, welcome partners on-site and help ensure they receive an outstanding experience.
  • Help gather feedback and reporting following events to demonstrate partnership value and identify opportunities for improvement.

What We're Looking For

Required

  • Prior experience in a partnership sales/account management/B2B sales role, ideally in the sports sponsorship space.
  • Experience with pitching and presenting skills - both virtually and in person.
  • Good negotiation skills and strategic thinking to be able to look at the wider picture of partnership opportunities.
  • Exceptional writing skills, with the ability to tailor messaging for different audiences.
  • Full UK Driving Licence and ability to travel.
