Client: Online Media and Publishing business

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, pitch and secure sponsorships and commercial partnerships across digital content, podcasts, newsletters, online media and online events.
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of prospective sponsors, advertisers, brands and agencies.
  • Develop long-term relationships with brands, agencies and marketing teams, particularly within the technology and B2B sectors.
  • Meet and exceed sponsorship, media and partnership revenue targets.
  • Develop and sell tailored content, podcast and media sponsorship packages aligned with client marketing objectives.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and pitching through to negotiation, closing and relationship management.
  • Support the planning and delivery of online events initially, with the opportunity to take ownership of the commercial side of future live events.
  • Build and engage a network of sponsors, speakers, creators, media partners and industry stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years experience in media sales, sponsorship sales, digital advertising, content partnerships, podcast sales or business development.
  • Proven track record of generating new business, pitching and closing sponsorship and commercial partnerships.
  • Experience selling content sponsorships, podcast sponsorships, digital media, advertising or branded content.
  • Experience working with technology, B2B, SaaS, fintech or digital brands would be highly desirable.
  • Experience working within a small to mid-sized media, publishing or digital content company is preferred.
  • Proficient with CRM platforms, LinkedIn and sales tools such as Apollo.
