Partnerships Manager

Location: Hybrid - 3 days a week in Manchester

Salary: From £45,000

Purpose of the Role:

The Partnerships Manager plays a key role within interactive investor's Growth Team, driving customer acquisition and commercial growth through strategic partnerships. This is a highly external-facing role suited to a commercially minded individual who enjoys building relationships, identifying new opportunities and representing the business across the market.

Success in this role will be measured through partnership growth, customer acquisition, pipeline development, partner engagement and commercial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Partnership Growth & Development

  • Deliver the partnerships strategy, driving customer acquisition, commercial growth and performance across existing and new B2B partnerships
  • Identify, secure and develop strategic partnerships across key sectors including recruitment, umbrella, accountancy, employee benefits, financial services and other affinity channels, building a strong pipeline of opportunities and new routes to market
  • Own and grow partner relationships from onboarding through to ongoing commercial development, acting as a trusted adviser and delivering joint business plans, engagement initiatives and performance improvements
  • Build and maintain a strong network of partners, intermediaries and industry stakeholders, leveraging market insight, emerging trends and partner needs to identify new growth opportunities
  • Represent interactive investor externally at industry events, conferences and partner meetings, enhancing market presence and generating new business opportunities
  • Leverage interactive investor's designated broker proposition to develop relationships with financial services organisations and intermediaries

Stakeholder Collaboration & Delivery

  • Collaborate with Marketing, PR, Product, Operations, Compliance, Customer Services and Growth teams to deliver partnership objectives and maximise partner performance
  • Identify and coordinate opportunities for joint campaigns, thought leadership, media activity, case studies and partner communications
  • Act as the internal advocate for partner needs, ensuring effective stakeholder alignment and delivery of partnership initiatives and commercial objectives

Performance, Reporting & Governance

  • Monitor, analyse and report on partnership performance, pipeline progression, acquisition activity and commercial outcomes, using data and insight to optimise results and identify growth opportunities
  • Produce forecasts, presentations and business updates for senior stakeholders
  • Ensure partnership activity, contracts and commercial arrangements comply with regulatory requirements, company policies and the firm's Risk Management Framework
  • Support risk and control activities in line with FCA requirements and governance standards

Requirements

  • Proven experience in partnerships, business development, account management or relationship management, with a strong track record of delivering commercial growth and developing strategic partnerships.
  • Strong relationship building, networking and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to identify opportunities, influence decision-makers and drive commercial outcomes.
  • Good understanding of relevant sectors: umbrella, recruitment and financial services.
  • Commercially minded, proactive and results-focused, with a naturally curious approach and strong growth mindset.
  • Experience working collaboratively across teams to deliver partnership initiatives, campaigns and business objectives.
  • Strong analytical, communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate data and insight into actionable recommendations.
  • Self motivated, organised and resilient, with the confidence to represent the business externally and engage effectively with senior stakeholders.
  • Customer focused and accountable, with a commitment to delivering positive customer and business outcomes.
