We’re a creative, fast-moving organisation with big ambitions and a brilliant team that makes them happen.

£55,000 - £68,000 OTE
The Role
As Partnerships Manager - Agency Sales, you will own a dedicated portfolio of media agency accounts, building strategic relationships across your agency patch to drive revenue growth for Goalhanger. Acting as a trusted commercial partner, you will champion Goalhanger's portfolio of premium podcasts, identify new opportunities across planning and investment teams, and develop long-term partnerships with key agency groups, including WPP, Omnicom, Publicis, IPG, Dentsu and Havas. You'll be responsible for responding to agency briefs, developing compelling commercial proposals, managing your own sales pipeline and forecasting, and delivering against an individual revenue target.
This role would suit either a media sales professional looking to work with one of the UK's fastest-growing podcast publishers, or someone with experience at a media buying agency who has strong commercial instincts, an established agency network, and is looking to move into media owner sales.
What you’ll do:
- Own and grow strategic agency relationships.
- Build relationships across planning, investment, partnerships and client teams.
- Deliver against ambitious revenue targets through agency partnerships.
- Increase the rate of inbound briefs through proactive outreach.
- Respond to briefs with creative, insight-led proposals.
- Develop integrated campaigns across podcast, video, social and branded content.
- Lead negotiations and manage campaigns from opportunity through to delivery.
- Maintain accurate pipeline management and forecasting.
- Represent Goalhanger with senior agency stakeholders.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
