Partnership & Sponsorship Manager
Hybrid working (1 day a week Hertfordshire office, 4 days from home)
Salary: £36,000 to £39,000
Our client is a Nationwide membership organisation. They're looking for a commercially minded Partnership & Sponsorship Manager to manage and grow a portfolio of strategic partners, ensuring they receive outstanding service while identifying opportunities to increase commercial value. This is predominantly an account management role, with a smaller focus on securing sponsorship support for events and initiatives.
The Role
You'll become the trusted relationship manager for a portfolio of commercial partners, ensuring contractual commitments are delivered, campaigns run successfully and partnerships continue to grow. Working closely with the Marketing team, you'll coordinate partner campaigns, oversee promotional activity and ensure maximum value is delivered for both partners and the organisation. Alongside managing existing relationships, you'll identify suitable sponsorship opportunities for events and negotiate commercially beneficial agreements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop a portfolio of strategic commercial partners
- Build long-term relationships with key stakeholders
- Create and deliver account plans to maximise commercial value
- Negotiate commercial agreements and renewals
- Work closely with Marketing to deliver partner campaigns across digital, social media and events
- Monitor campaign performance and identify opportunities for growth
- Identify new partnership opportunities where service gaps exist
- Secure sponsorship support for events and publications
- Maintain accurate CRM records and commercial reporting

About You
You'll have experience managing commercial relationships and enjoy working collaboratively across multiple teams.
We're particularly interested in candidates with:
- Strong Account Management, Partnership Management or Client Relationship experience
- Excellent commercial negotiation skills
- Experience managing contracts and commercial agreements
- Ability to build trusted, long-term stakeholder relationships
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience working closely with marketing teams on partner campaigns
- Confident communication and influencing skills
- CRM experience (Salesforce would be advantageous)
- Experience securing sponsorship for events would be beneficial but is not essential.
