This is an exciting opportunity for a driven, relationship-focused, commercially minded individual who is passionate about partnerships to join the Sky VIP partnerships team.

The Partnerships Manager

The Partnerships Manager will be responsible for managing and growing key relationships, including Sainsbury’s, Merlin and Co-op Live, while identifying new opportunities that deliver real value for our customers. The role sits within the Marketing, Experiences & Partnerships team in Sky VIP – Sky’s loyalty programme.

What you’ll do

  • Manage and grow existing partnerships: This includes the operational setting up of weekly partner promotions, with a view of driving added value to customers and the business, reflected in engagement and customer satisfaction scores.
  • Identify and negotiate new partnerships: Work closely with the Partnerships Lead to identify and negotiate new, best-in-market partnerships that align to the VIP programme’s principles. This involves end-to-end partnership management, incorporating:
    • Gathering insight and writing briefs / proposals
    • Commercial negotiations and legals
    • Mechanics to support the execution of the partnership
    • Evaluation and reporting
  • Performance analysis: Work closely with the marketing and commercial teams, as well as agency partners, to draw key insights that will help inform future partnership delivery and strategy.
  • Internal collaboration: Collaborate with the wider VIP team to ensure strategic and commercial alignment on any partnerships, whilst identifying wider business opportunities with PR or product verticals.
  • Day-to-day management of Co-op Live partnership: Oversee the ticketing strategy and fulfilment as well as the Lounge customer experience (we have a Sky VIP lounge at the arena. Customers enter a ballot to win a pair of tickets to watch the show from the Lounge).

What you’ll bring

Essential Criteria

  • Proven experience in creating and managing customer facing partnerships of scale. Able to demonstrate strong end-to-end partnership experience, including:
    • Identifying and negotiating new, high value partnerships to drive added value for customers
    • Day-to-day partner / agency management
    • Delivery of agreed partnership rights
    • Analysis to track and optimize performance
    • Ability to grow and evolve partnerships based on insight
  • Demonstrate strong commercial acumen, with a track record of translating data into actionable strategies that supports growth and partnership optimisation
  • Expert in building cross-functional relationships, excellent communication skills & demonstrated ability to use great storytelling to both Director & HoD level. Includes high proficiency in powerpoint and word to support storytelling and the ability to influence at a senior level.
  • Strong planning skills with proven experience in leading & managing multi-stakeholder projects and balancing strategic short- and long-term planning. Comfortable handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, you’ll demonstrate enthusiasm, resilience, and exceptional attention to detail, to manage multiple stakeholders, partners and promotions simultaneously.
  • Demonstrate strong experience in operational delivery from briefing promotions and sourcing assets through to digital execution and feeding into 1:1 comms, highlighting strong skills in quality control.

We've adopted a hybrid working approach to give more flexibility on where and how we work. The hybrid working expectations for this role are 3 days in the office per week.
