Job Title: Partnerships Manager
Reporting To: Director, Marketing & Experiences
Location: London – hybrid working

The job in a nutshell
The Partnerships Manager is a newly created role responsible for developing and leading BB&R's partnership strategy, creating meaningful collaborations that drive customer value, commercial growth and brand differentiation.
Working across Marketing, Membership, Experiences, Buying and Commercial teams, the role will identify, secure and activate strategic partnerships that enhance the customer proposition, expand audience reach and create compelling experiences. The role will be central to the success of BB&R's new tiered customer proposition, working closely with the Membership Manager and Membership Programming Lead to develop partnerships that support customer acquisition, engagement and retention.

What you will do
Partnership Strategy & Development
- Develop and deliver BB&R's partnership strategy, identifying opportunities that support commercial objectives, customer value and brand positioning.
- Build and manage a portfolio of strategic partnerships across wine and spirits producers, hospitality, luxury, cultural and lifestyle sectors.
- Develop annual and quarterly partnership and joint business plans with key partners (e.g. Moet Hennessy, Bollinger, Suntory).
- Work closely with the Buying Team to build and strengthen relationships with key wine and spirits producers, agencies and brand owners.
- Maximise the value of partnership assets, including investment, wines, experiences, content and hospitality opportunities.
- Develop compelling partnership propositions and commercially attractive collaboration opportunities.
- Build long-term relationships that deliver sustainable value for both BB&R and its partners.

Membership & Customer Proposition
- Work closely with the Membership Manager and Membership Programming Lead to enhance BB&R's tiered customer proposition.
- Identify and secure partnerships that create meaningful benefits, experiences and exclusive opportunities for top-tier customer segments.
- Support initiatives designed to drive customer acquisition, engagement, advocacy and retention.
- Develop Preferred Partner relationships that provide added value and differentiation within the membership proposition.
- Ensure partnership activity enhances the overall customer experience and supports long-term customer loyalty.
Partnership Activation & Delivery
- Lead the development and delivery of partnership-led campaigns, collaborations and experiences.
- Work with Marketing, Membership and Events teams to bring partnership opportunities to life across multiple channels.
- Ensure partnership activity is effectively integrated into wider customer journeys, campaigns and commercial plans.
- Manage partner communications, approvals, assets and delivery requirements.
- Work closely with the Membership Programming Lead to deliver high-quality customer experiences and events.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Act as the central point of coordination for partnership activity across the business.
- Build strong working relationships with Marketing, Buying, Events, FMV and Commercial teams.
- Align stakeholders around shared objectives and maximise opportunities for collaboration.
- Maintain visibility of partnership activity to ensure consistency, efficiency and avoidance of duplication.
- Ensure partnership opportunities support both customer and commercial priorities.
Commercial Management & Performance
- Own the partnership pipeline and actively manage opportunities from identification through to activation and review.
- Negotiate commercial agreements and partnership terms to deliver mutual value.
- Define success measures and KPIs for partnership activity.
- Monitor performance, evaluate outcomes and identify opportunities for optimisation and growth.
- Deliver reporting and insights to demonstrate the commercial and customer impact of partnerships.

What we’re looking for
Experience
- Proven experience in partnership management, brand collaborations, commercial marketing or strategic business development.
- Demonstrable success building and managing long-term commercial partnerships.
- Experience developing integrated partnership, marketing or customer engagement initiatives.
- Experience working across multiple stakeholders and functions to deliver complex projects.
- Strong track record of negotiating and managing high-value partnerships.
- Experience within luxury, hospitality, membership, lifestyle, wine & spirits or cultural sectors would be advantageous.
Skills, Knowledge & Behaviours
- Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify mutually beneficial opportunities.
- Skilled negotiator with the ability to influence and build credibility internally and externally.
- Strong project management and organisational skills, able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and align stakeholders around shared goals.
- Customer-focused mindset with an understanding of acquisition, engagement and retention principles.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with practical delivery.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Highly proactive, organised and solutions oriented.
- Passion for luxury brands, hospitality, culture, food, drink and customer experiences.
Qualifications
- Degree-level qualification or equivalent professional experience.
- Professional qualifications in Marketing, Business Development or Commercial disciplines would be advantageous.
- An interest in wine and spirits, with a willingness to develop wine knowledge (WSET desirable).
