About London City Lionesses

London City Lionesses are one of the most ambitious clubs in women's football and part of the Kynisca group - a pioneering global organisation founded by Michele Kang with a vision to transform the future of women's sport. Following promotion to the Women's Super League, the club is entering an exciting new chapter as it continues to establish itself amongst the leading teams in the women's game.

Driven by a high-performance culture and long-term vision, the club is investing significantly in its people, infrastructure and supporter experience. As the club continues to grow both on and off the pitch, there is a clear ambition to grow attendances, deepen supporter engagement and deliver an outstanding matchday experience for fans.

As the club's commercial partnerships continue to grow, London City Lionesses are looking for a Partnerships Marketing Manager to help bring those partnerships to life and create maximum value for both the club and its partners.

The Impact You'll Make

This role sits at the intersection of partnerships and marketing, maintaining strong relationships with partners while bringing partnerships to life through creative campaigns and activations across content, digital and matchday experiences.

You will work closely with partners to understand their objectives and translate their rights into clear, season-long marketing plans, while collaborating across the club to deliver activity that creates genuine value for both parties.

From content and player appearances to fan activations and attendance-driving initiatives, you will have the opportunity to shape how some of the club's biggest partnerships show up and connect with supporters.

With the club's partnership portfolio continuing to grow, this is an exciting opportunity to join a developing partnerships function and play an important role in bringing its commercial partnerships to life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with partners, developing a clear understanding of their marketing objectives and wider business priorities.
  • Translate contractual rights into season-long partnership marketing and activation plans.
  • Develop and deliver creative partner campaigns across content, digital, player appearances, experiences and matchday activations.
  • Work closely with the Partnerships and Marketing teams to ensure activity is coordinated, on-brand and aligned with both partner and club objectives.
  • Lead the creative approval and delivery process for partner content, branding and campaigns across the club's physical and digital channels.
  • Identify opportunities for partner activity to support fan and database growth, including competitions, ticketing initiatives and matchday activations.
  • Support the delivery of partner events and experiences throughout the season e.g. Partner Summit, Pitch Days Golf Day.
  • Manage implementation of Partner logo or campaigns across physical inventory (stadiums, signage, backdrops etc.) and digital inventory (LED, broadcast graphics, websites, app etc.).
  • Use data and campaign performance to measure activity against partner KPIs and identify opportunities to improve future activation.
  • Coordinate planning workshops and design meetings to maximise partner rights across campaigns, maintaining consistency and protect brand integrity across all touchpoints.
  • Support the development of new partner assets, content series and marketing opportunities alongside the wider Commercial team.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
