Partnerships Operations Manager
Talent Nexus | £45,000-£60,000 | Full-time | UK
The role
Talent Nexus is one of the fastest-growing businesses in our sector. In just four years, we've grown to £50m of annual advertising spend and 1,000+ clients, working with major industry partners including LinkedIn and Indeed, alongside organisations such as The Recruitment Network, TEAM, and The Talent Labs.
Our partnerships are a big part of our future growth - and we're hiring someone to make sure the work behind those partnerships actually happens.
We're looking for a Partnerships Operations Manager to bring structure, organization, and accountability across our existing partner programmes.
This isn't a sales role. You won't be responsible for winning new partners or pitching Talent Nexus.
Instead, you'll be the person who makes sure that once something is agreed, it gets done, tracked, reported, and closed out.
Right now, too much of this information sits across spreadsheets, inboxes, and people's heads. Your job will be to turn that into a clear, reliable system.
What you'll be doing
You'll work closely with our Chief Revenue Officer and directors, owning the operational side of our partnerships.
You'll:
- Build and manage a single source of truth for partner initiatives, contracts, renewals, deadlines, and owners.
- Track multiple live workstreams and make sure actions don't get lost.
- Run regular reporting on partner programmes, including pilot performance, renewal forecasts, and partner scorecards.
- Coordinate projects across internal teams and external partner stakeholders.
- Chase actions, follow up on outstanding items, and keep things moving without needing to be asked.
- Maintain accurate records of contracts, commercial terms, and renewal dates.
- Prepare partner updates, briefing notes, and internal reports for senior stakeholders.
- Identify risks and slippage early and make sure they are escalated appropriately.
- Keep the CRO and directors fully briefed so they're never walking into a partner conversation without the latest information.
- Continuously improve the processes and systems we use to manage our partnerships.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What this role isn't
We want to be really clear about this.
This is not:
- A business development role.
- A sales role.
- A new partner acquisition role.
- A traditional relationship-management role.
- A role with a revenue or commission target.
- A stepping stone into a partnerships sales career.
The CRO owns the relationships, strategy, and commercial conversations.
You own what happens next.
What success looks like
Six months in, we'd expect you to have transformed how we manage our partnerships.
There should be:
- One clear view of every live initiative.
- Clear owners and deadlines.
- Accurate contract and renewal information.
- Regular, reliable reporting.
- Fewer things falling through the cracks.
- Earlier visibility of risks.
- A much clearer picture for the CRO and directors.
- Less reliance on people remembering things themselves.
Ultimately, we want someone who can say:
"I know what's happening, what's overdue, what's at risk, and what needs to happen next."
And then make sure it happens.
The details
- Salary: £45,000-£60,000 depending on experience
- Location: Surbiton
- Employment: Full-time, permanent
- Reporting to: Chief Revenue Officer
- Commission: None
If you're an organized, commercially-minded operator who loves turning complexity into a system - we'd love to hear from you.
