Founded in 2020, GDO has rapidly become a platform where dancers of all ages and styles can shine. Through qualifiers and world finals, the organization connects performers with scholarships, industry professionals, and international stages. GDO is dedicated to supporting artistic development and expanding opportunities for dancers worldwide.

About the Role
Global Dance Open is looking for a commercially minded Partnerships & Sponsorship Manager to develop relationships with brands, organisations and businesses that want to connect with the international dance community.

You will be responsible for identifying partnership opportunities, developing relationships and creating sponsorship opportunities around GDO events and activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and approach potential sponsors and commercial partners
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing partners
- Create sponsorship and partnership proposals
- Develop attractive sponsorship packages and opportunities
- Negotiate partnership agreements alongside the GDO directors
- Manage partner communication and deliverables
- Identify opportunities for brand collaborations and cross-promotion
- Attend selected GDO events and represent the organisation when required
- Monitor partnership performance and report results
- Research new commercial opportunities within the dance and wider lifestyle industries

About You
- Experience in partnerships, sponsorship, sales or business development
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Commercially minded and confident approaching new businesses
- Excellent negotiation and presentation skills
- Proactive and able to work independently
- Strong understanding of the dance industry is highly desirable
- Existing contacts within dance, sport, fashion, lifestyle or events are a plus
Key Objective
Generate new commercial partnerships and sponsorship revenue for Global Dance Open.
