About Us
NELO Education is developing an international study platform that helps students find, compare and apply to university courses across selected study destinations. Bringing together AI-supported course discovery, personalised guidance, English test preparation and application support, NELO aims to help students make informed decisions before they apply.
We are looking for an organised, proactive and student-focused Partnerships & Student Engagement Coordinator to support NELO’s university relationships, course information and prospective student engagement. Working closely with the Global Partnerships & Outreach Manager and colleagues across admissions, marketing and content, the postholder will help keep university information accurate, support partner communication, engage prospective applicants and use content such as videos, podcasts and interviews to inform and connect with students.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Global Partnerships & Outreach Manager with university partnership activity, outreach, follow-ups, meeting preparation and day-to-day partner coordination.
- Communicate professionally with universities and education partners to obtain and confirm course deadlines, intakes, admission criteria, entry requirements, tuition fees, scholarship information and other relevant student-facing information.
- Review and check course and university information for accuracy and completeness, flagging changes or discrepancies and helping ensure NELO’s internal records and student-facing information remain current.
- Maintain organised partnership records, university contact details, follow-up actions, meeting notes and relevant documentation.
- Assist with arranging partner meetings, campus visits, webinars, university interviews, podcast recordings and other collaborative activities.
- Contact prospective applicants who have expressed an interest in studying abroad, understand their study interests and help them navigate the next appropriate step in the NELO journey.
- Respond to general student enquiries using accurate and verified information, follow up with prospective applicants and refer admissions, immigration, compliance or specialist queries to the appropriate team where required.
- Maintain clear records of student enquiries, follow-ups and engagement activity in the relevant systems, ensuring confidentiality and appropriate handling of personal information.
- Identify common student questions, concerns and information gaps and share these insights with the wider team to improve communications, guidance and content.
- Create and support student-focused digital content, including short-form videos, interviews, podcasts, webinars and social media content, to improve student engagement and awareness.
- Confidently appear on camera and, when required, host students, university representatives, education professionals or other guests in video and podcast content.
- Work with the marketing and content teams to turn university updates, application requirements, deadlines, student questions and destination information into clear and useful content.
- Support other content creators with research, scripting, university information, student insights, on-camera participation and content production when needed.
- Help capture authentic student stories, university experiences, campus content, events and destination information for NELO’s digital channels.
- Support social media and student engagement activity across relevant platforms, helping monitor responses, engagement and recurring student questions.
- Work collaboratively across partnerships, admissions, marketing, content and technology teams to ensure students and partners receive accurate, consistent and responsible information.
- Undertake other reasonable partnership, outreach, student engagement and content-related duties consistent with the purpose of the role.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
