RH Commercial Vehicles is looking for a motivated and customer-focused Parts Advisor to join our busy Coventry depot.

About the Role

As a Parts Advisor, you’ll play a vital role in keeping our customers’ vehicles on the road by identifying, sourcing and supplying the right parts quickly and accurately. Working closely with our workshop team, suppliers and customers, you’ll help deliver the exceptional service RHCV is known for.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting customer with parts enquiries and providing expert advice.
  • Identifying and supplying the correct parts using manufacturer catalogues and ordering systems.
  • Processing customer and workshop orders efficiently and accurately.
  • Working closely with technicians and service teams to meet customer requirements.
  • Managing stock levels, inventory checks and incoming deliveries.
  • Sourcing parts from manufacturers and external suppliers.
  • Building strong relationships with customers, suppliers and colleagues.
  • Maintaining accurate records and ensuring excellent attention to detail.
  • Keeping up to date with new products, systems and industry developments.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Parts Advisor, Parts Assistant or similar role.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment.
  • Good IT skills and experience using parts or stock management systems.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving ability.
  • Commercial awareness and confidence in independently and as part of a team.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop.
  • Experience within the commercial vehicle, truck automotive or transport industry.
  • Knowledge of Renault Trucks or Isuzu Trucks parts.
  • Experience working in a dealership environment.
  • Forklift licence or HGV licence (advantageous).

Working Hours

  • 40 – 45 hours a week
  • 40 hours a week shift rotation: Mon – Fri: 10:30 – 20:00, Every other Saturday: 08:00 – 12:00
  • 45 hours a week shift rotation: Mon – Fri: 06:00-15:30, Mon – Fri: 09:00-18:30, Saturday rota: 08:00 – 12:00
